Joyce Lee

Joyce Lee is a Principal at WI Harper Group, based in the firm’s Taipei office. WI Harper says she works with its investment team to scout new ventures and manage key portfolio companies, with hands-on experience in healthcare, consumer, and enterprise TMT sectors.

Before WI Harper, Lee joined Yuanta Financial Holdings in 2008 as an equity analyst at Yuanta Securities, covering the healthcare and finance industries. WI Harper’s bio says that work gave her practical exposure to healthcare and capital markets in Greater China.

In 2013, Lee joined Diamond BioFund, described by WI Harper as a $260 million evergreen healthcare-focused fund backed by Taiwanese financial-holding and biotech groups. At Diamond BioFund, she specialized in new-drug-development and pharmaceutical investments, led investments across China and Taiwan, participated in portfolio management, and served as a board director.

Lee holds a B.A. in Political Science and Economics and an MBA in International Financial Management from National Cheng Kung University.
