Kasper Sage

Kasper Sage is a Managing Partner at BMW i Ventures. The firm’s team page states that he has been with BMW i Ventures since 2016 and that most of his career has been spent as a venture capital investor in Silicon Valley. BMW Group’s 2021 press release named Sage and Marcus Behrendt as the firm’s new Managing Partners as BMW i Ventures launched its second $300 million fund.

Before BMW i Ventures, Sage was part of 7Innovate, the venture capital arm of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, where he focused on early-stage investments in Silicon Valley, Israel, and Asia. His earlier roles included Manager of Business Development & Partnering at Deutsche Telekom, Management Consultant at Detecon, and Head of Marketing at the startups Sabienzia Technologies and aka-aki networks.

Sage holds an MA / Diplom in Strategic Marketing from the University of the Arts Berlin. At BMW i Ventures, he helps lead a venture platform that reports more than 90 investments, $1.1B+ in assets under management, and activity dating back to 2011.
