Background
Krish Arvapally is a serial technology entrepreneur and investor based in Austin. He is a co-founder and CTO of Dappier, an AI monetization company building marketplace, RAG API, AI-agent, and advertising products for publishers, data owners, and advertisers. Dappier raised a $2 million seed round led by Silverton Partners in June 2024.
Arvapally is also associated with B20 Labs, a next-generation holding company and venture studio based in Austin. B20 says founders Krish and Dan Goikhman have been building companies together since 2008, with experience building and investing in ad tech, video, streaming media, blockchain, and AI.
Earlier in his career, Arvapally co-founded Mojiva and Mocean Mobile. A yWhales / Replay bio says he held CTO and CPO roles at Mojiva and Mocean Mobile and helped pioneer mobile digital ad platforms at high request volume; Mocean Mobile was acquired by PubMatic in 2014. He later co-founded Unreel, an OTT video streaming platform for content owners; Replay and B20 materials say Unreel merged with Powr.tv, which was later acquired by Bitcentral.
His education is listed on LinkedIn as Rutgers University, 2002-2006. He has also written publicly about entrepreneurship: a 2012 Forbes post described choosing startup work after college and learning company-building through a boutique software-development firm.
Investment Thesis & Focus
- B20 Labs is a hands-on venture studio rather than a traditional passive fund. The firm says it can take an idea "from a napkin sketch through to shipping a product enjoyed by millions."
- B20 states that it "invest[s] capital and sweat" across its portfolio and in promising entrepreneurs, implying that Arvapally is most relevant for founders who want operating help as well as capital.
- Stage focus is early: B20 publicly lists seed capital and pre-seed among its specialties, and Angel Match lists Arvapally as an angel/individual investor focused on seed-stage companies.
- Sector fit is strongest where Arvapally has operating experience: AI, ad tech, video infrastructure, OTT/CTV, streaming media, blockchain-based attribution, content monetization, marketplaces, and publisher/data-owner tools.
- Product orientation matters. B20 emphasizes MVP development, AI strategy and development, go-to-market scoping, launch strategy, and moving quickly toward product-market fit.
