Lee Berger

Lee Berger is the Managing Director of Octacom Limited, an intelligent process automation and digital transformation company based in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Octacom describes itself as an enterprise software and business process services provider focused on intelligent document and data management, AI-enhanced capture, workflow automation, scanning, integrations, and BPO support.

Berger’s earlier career included three years as an Associate at Scotia Capital after graduating from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University in 2009. He then joined Langara Group and Vendian Capital Management, where he served as Vice President until early 2016. Grey Road Partners states that at Vendian he managed a private equity portfolio in agriculture and energy and sourced and evaluated new opportunities.

He has also founded several businesses. True North Sports Camps’ history says Berger joined the founding team that launched North Toronto Baseball Camp in 2007, which later expanded into True North Sports Camps. Grey Road Partners also lists him as a founder of Care Chairs Home Health, acquired in 2015, and WinJunkie, acquired in 2013.

In July 2026, DATA Communications Management Corp. acquired Octacom for CAD 54.0 million on a cash-free, debt-free basis. DCM said Octacom would strengthen its intelligent document processing and workflow automation capabilities; Octacom said it would continue operating as a distinct DCM division with its name, team, and leadership retained.
