Lindsay Avagliano

Lindsay Freeman Avagliano is an executive with roughly 15 years of experience working at the intersection of technology, law, and venture finance. She earned a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School (2007–2010) and began her career as a startup and venture-finance attorney at law firms in New York City and Raleigh, including Smith Anderson. That legal grounding in emerging-company and corporate work has been a through-line across her subsequent roles in venture capital and operations.

At Prolog Ventures — a St. Louis-area fund dedicated to companies that promote healthy living and a sustainable world — she served as a Principal (having joined earlier as a Senior Associate). In that role she led and supported investments in the firm's health, wellness, and infection-control themes. Most notably, she led CleanSlate UV's $7 million Series A in April 2020 and joined its board of directors alongside Prolog's Rob Rosenberg, deploying capital from the Prolog Lonza fund focused on infection control and prevention.
