Louis Gresham

Louis Gresham spent nearly five years (Q4 2019–2024) as a Partner at March Capital, co-launching and running its dedicated gaming vehicle, March Gaming (later rebranded 1AM Gaming), alongside Co-Founder and Managing Partner Gregory Milken. The fund debuted publicly in August 2020 with $60M to lead seed and Series A gaming investments. Gresham focused exclusively on gaming, sourcing deals and serving on portfolio boards.

Before venture capital, Gresham was an operator and entrepreneur for more than 15 years. He co-founded Cape, an industry-leading drone-software company backed by Google and NEA, where he served as President and later CEO; Cape built the world's first consumer portal for real-time remote drone flight (over 100,000 flights), then scaled to enterprise and government customers before being acquired by Motorola Solutions. He also worked at Google X, and earlier led gaming and virtual-worlds advisory as a Deloitte Innovation Fellow in Deloitte Federal's GovLab incubator, working with clients including the Navy and the Department of Homeland Security.

His education spans Yale (B.A.), where he bootstrapped and exited his first tech company as an undergraduate, and Stanford Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.). While at Stanford he worked as a Producer at Riot Games before leaving to found Cape.

In February 2025, Gresham announced a return to entrepreneurship as Co-Founder and CEO of Hydratac Inc., a military-simulation/tactical-shooter game studio ("Hydra Tactical"), which raised ~$3M led by his former fund 1AM Gaming alongside the HGM Fund, with former Treyarch studio co-head Dan Bunting on its board.
