Madhav Soi

Madhav Soi is an investment and corporate-development professional with more than a decade of experience spanning real estate private equity, venture capital, PropTech, corporate development, investor relations and fundraising across the Asia-Pacific region. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. His career has been closely tied to the investment universe built around Sid Yog, the founding partner of the emerging-markets investment firm The Xander Group — which explains his xanderfunds.com email address.

Early in his career, Soi worked as an investment professional within the Xander ecosystem, including The Xander Group and Xander Advisors India, focusing on infrastructure, hospitality, retail and real estate. He then moved into the venture side at Yuj Ventures, the Singapore-based early-stage investment platform backed by Sid Yog's family office (founded 2015). At Yuj he led and closed venture investments across EdTech, consumer tech, PropTech, SaaS, digital media and entertainment, and he served on the boards of portfolio companies including Eupheus Learning and CoHo.in. He has also been associated with The Hive Collaborative Workspaces.

In recent years Soi has shifted toward operating roles in the flexible-living / co-living space. He was Head of Corporate Development at Cove, a Singapore-based flexible-living operator, where he led fundraising, corporate development, strategic partnerships, joint ventures and M&A. He is currently Senior Vice President, Growth Initiatives at Weave Living, a Hong Kong / Singapore–headquartered residential-living platform, where he leads new-market expansion, joint ventures and partnerships, M&A, and expansion into adjacent business lines.

His profile is therefore dual: a venture investor with a real-estate / PropTech / consumer lens, and an operator who builds and scales living-sector businesses across Asia.
