Background

Manish Maheshwari is an Indian technology executive, entrepreneur, and angel investor with more than two decades of experience across consumer internet, e-commerce, and media. He earned a B.Com (Honors) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (2004–2006, Ford Research Fellow), and later an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School as a Mason Fellow (2024). He began his career at Procter & Gamble in Mumbai (Vicks brand), then worked at McKinsey & Company in New York before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area to join Intuit, where he collaborated with founder Scott Cook and co-founded txtWeb, a text-based application platform that scaled to roughly 11 million users.

From around 2014 to 2016 he was Head of Seller Business & Ecosystem at Flipkart, where he is credited with expanding the seller base substantially and launching the Flipkart Seller Campus. In April 2016 he became CEO of Network18 Digital, overseeing a portfolio of digital properties that included HomeShop18.com (the source of his listed contact email), Moneycontrol, News18, Firstpost, and others, and drove aggressive regional-language expansion across 13 Indian languages.

In April 2019 he was appointed Head of Twitter India, a high-profile role in which India became one of Twitter's fastest-growing markets before his departure in 2021. He subsequently co-founded the edtech venture Invact Metaversity (2021–2022) and then Fanory.ai (2023), an AI-enabled "Shopify for creators" backed by the family offices of Sachin Tendulkar, Adar Poonawalla, and Kris Gopalakrishnan; Fanory was acquired by JetSynthesys. In April 2026, Stripe appointed him Head of Revenue and Growth for India, focused on helping AI-first Indian businesses expand globally. Alongside these operating roles he has been an active early-stage angel investor since 2015.
