Marc Erickson

Marc Erickson serves as Vice President for Development at Covenant College (Lookout Mountain, Georgia) and Executive Director of the Covenant College Foundation, a role he has held since 2010. In his development capacity he oversees the college's alumni relations, church relations, fundraising/development, and planned giving programs. He earned a B.A. in Business from Covenant College, the same institution he now serves.

Before joining the college, Erickson spent roughly 17 years in the insurance and financial-services industry, including sales and management roles associated with Northwestern Mutual and BB&T Huffaker Trimble. During that period he managed an approximately $850,000 book of business and advised business owners, CFOs, and executives on strategic employee-benefits decisions. He is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) and also holds the Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) and Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) designations.

His professional focus today is planned giving and estate design and planning on behalf of the college and its donors. He is a member of the Chattanooga Estate Planning Council and the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. He stepped into the Executive Director role of the Foundation succeeding longtime leader Frank Brock.

Marc and his wife, Greta, have three children (Grace, Wally, and Mack) and are members of Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church, where Marc serves as an elder.
