Megan Reynolds

Megan Reynolds is a Principal at Vertex Ventures US, an early-stage venture firm focused on infrastructure and SaaS. Vertex announced in September 2022 that it had hired Reynolds to its investment team as part of its $200 million third fund, where the firm said she would work with companies across North America and Europe.

Before Vertex, Reynolds invested at Crane Venture Partners and Entrepreneur First in London. Vertex described her as having developed a reputation as a deep-tech and developer-tools investor at Crane and Entrepreneur First, with investments including Cerbos, Gitpod, Silverflow, and Tinybird. Earlier sources also identify her as an investor at Crane focused on pre-Series A enterprise companies with deeply technical founders across Europe.

Before venture capital, Reynolds was a go-to-market operator at an early-stage fintech startup in London and began her career investing in public-market technology companies in Hong Kong with Aberdeen Asset Management. Her LinkedIn profile lists education at the University of Bristol.

Reynolds also founded infra.nyc, a private/community events group for infrastructure founders, engineering leaders, and operators. Vertex’s site says infra.community, hosted by Reynolds, runs regular meetups for software infrastructure builders in New York City and San Francisco.
