Michael Fleitz

Michael "Mike" Fleitz is a life-insurance and reinsurance executive who spent the bulk of his career at Wilton Re, a US- and Bermuda-based life reinsurance company. He joined Wilton Re in 2005 as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. Before that, he was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), where he focused on the life insurance industry — advising on financial reporting, public offerings, internal controls, and risk management. He holds a B.S. from Miami University (Ohio).

On April 28, 2016, Wilton Re announced organizational changes appointing Fleitz as Chief Executive Officer of Wilton Re U.S., with Steve Lash succeeding him as SVP & CFO of the US business. At that time Chris Stroup remained Chairman & CEO of the parent, Wilton Re Ltd.
