Background
Mickey Arabelovic is the founder and managing member of Telescope Partners, a thesis-driven, early-growth venture firm he launched around 2015 to back entrepreneurs building enterprise software companies. The firm is based in the Presidio in San Francisco and, as of mid-2025, had invested in roughly 21 companies, producing one unicorn and multiple acquisitions.
Before founding Telescope, Arabelovic spent seven years at Sequoia Capital, where he helped build out the firm's growth-investing practice. There he worked closely with companies including Carbon Black (acquired by VMware), ZirMed (acquired by Waystar/Bain Capital), and HireVue (acquired by The Carlyle Group). Earlier in his career he invested in growth-stage financial services, consumer products, and technology at Summit Partners.
Arabelovic began his career in investment banking, working on M&A, equity, and debt transactions in the services sector at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company and KeyBanc Capital Markets. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Michigan.
Through Telescope, Arabelovic positions himself as a hands-on partner who offers "relevant advice and bespoke support to each of the founders they partner with," emphasizing that the firm brings more than capital to the companies it backs.
