Monica Moldovan

Monica Moldovan is a Romanian entrepreneur and former management-consulting/advisory partner. She earned a degree in Business Administration and International Transactions from the West University of Timișoara and completed her MBA at INSEAD (2005–2006). Before her MBA she held marketing and sales roles in industry in Romania.

In 2007 she joined Delta Partners Group, an emerging-markets-focused Telecom, Media & Digital (TMD) advisory and investment firm then headquartered in Dubai. Over more than a decade she rose to Partner, working across the firm's Dubai, Johannesburg and Barcelona offices. As part of the leadership of the Barcelona office she was responsible for North Africa, Europe and the CIS, leading strategic engagements including work in the telecom infrastructure-sharing space. Around 2017 Moldovan founded The Care Hub (thecarehub.ro / thecarehub.eu) in Timișoara, an AI-enabled SaaS platform for home care that connects families with trained, vetted caregivers — inspired, per her own telling, by her relationship with her grandmother and a mission to give older people dignified work and to help elderly people age in their own homes. She has since described a related venture, tenderly.ai, positioned around "AI-ready infrastructure for transforming home care," combining digital technology with social impact.
