Background
Morgane Fleith is a corporate-finance and private-equity professional educated at ESSEC Business School. She spent part of her career as an Associate at Naxicap Partners, a France-based private-equity firm founded in 2003 that operates as a subsidiary of the BPCE/Natixis Investment Managers group. Naxicap manages roughly €6–7bn and today concentrates on controlling majority stakes in small- and mid-cap companies (enterprise values from roughly €5m to €300m across its Small Cap and Mid Cap teams). Her work there fell within the classic PE remit — expansion capital, MBO/LBO, recapitalization and restructuring transactions — rather than early-stage or angel investing.
She has since left investing to move into an operating role. She is currently listed as Directrice Administrative et Financière (Director of Administration & Finance / CFO) at DualSun, a Marseille-based French manufacturer of hybrid photovoltaic-thermal (PVT) and standard PV solar panels, founded in 2010. In this capacity she oversees the finance and administrative function of a growth-stage cleantech manufacturer rather than deploying fund capital.
Because she is no longer an active deal-side investor, this profile reflects her institutional context (Naxicap's PE strategy) plus her current operating role. Note that there is at least one other unrelated professional with the same name (a "Morgane Fleith" associated with Baumert in Strasbourg); the ESSEC / corporate-finance / Naxicap / DualSun individual is the subject here.
Investment Thesis & Focus
The following describes the Naxicap Partners strategy she operated within — not a personal angel thesis (no evidence of independent angel/seed activity was found):
- Stage: Buyout and growth — expansion/late-stage, MBO/MBI, succession, recapitalization, reorganization and restructuring situations.
- Ownership: Controlling majority stakes, which now represent ~80% of Naxicap's investments (a shift over the past ~15 years away from its earlier minority growth-capital roots).
- Check size / deal size: Small- and mid-cap deals; enterprise values ~€5–50m (Small Cap team) and ~€50–300m (Mid Cap team). The firm deployed close to €1bn across ~13 deals in 2021.
- Sectors: Healthcare/pharma, IT/tech, B2B services, specialized distribution, food/agriculture and real-estate services.
- Geography: France as the core market, expanding into Benelux, DACH (Germany) and Spain.
Notable Investments
- Lilial Care (healthcare) — Naxicap deal on which she appears associated with an investment team (initial investment referenced around 2007).
- DualSun — not an investment but her current employer: a Marseille solar-panel manufacturer where she serves as CFO/Directrice Administrative et Financière.
