Nathalie Roosen

Nathalie Roosen is a Belgian finance professional who spent most of her investment career at LRM, the regional investment company established in 1994 to reinvest proceeds from the closure of Limburg's coal mines into the province's economy. She holds a Master's degree in Business Economics from Lessius Hogeschool (2006–2010) and had earlier experience connected to the audit/accountancy world (IBR-IRE, the Belgian Institute of Registered Auditors) before moving into investing.

She joined LRM as a Financial Analyst (2016–2018) and was promoted to Investment Manager, later Senior Investment Manager, a role she held until 2023. At LRM she worked alongside colleagues such as Dries Evens and Pieter-Jan Strouven and was part of the firm's climate/sustainability team, working on impact-oriented projects including the expansion of electric-vehicle charging infrastructure at Corda Campus in Hasselt.

Roosen became a visible face of LRM's sustainability agenda. She sat as a panel expert in the sustainability session of The Big Score 2022 (alongside representatives of Procter & Gamble, AB InBev and Four & Five), and she represented LRM at the United Nations in Geneva in November 2023, pitching the company as it was recognized as an "SDG Ambassador" — the highest United Nations sustainability label, reached after earlier "SDG Pioneer" and "SDG Champion" milestones.

As of 2023–2024 she transitioned out of LRM and into the public sector, working as Expert Financiën (finance expert) at Stad Beringen, a city in Limburg. Because her LRM tenure has ended, the @lrm.be email in the stub data should be treated as potentially stale; her current professional base is the municipality of Beringen.
