Oliver Richards

Oliver Richards, also known as Ollie, is a General Partner at MMC, where he specialises in fintech and insurtech investments. MMC’s profile says he has led deals including Copper, YuLife and TreasurySpring, and that he is a member of MMC’s Investment Committee and co-leads the investment team.

Before joining MMC in 2018, Richards worked in operating roles at Monitise, where MMC says he was part of the core team that grew the company from fewer than 100 people to more than 1,400 in three years. He ran separate P&Ls as business units within the parent company and completed six acquisitions before Monitise was sold to Fiserv.

Earlier in his career, Richards was a venture partner at Blue Bear Capital, working on technology investments in the U.S., and began his career at Deloitte. He received an MBA with distinction through a joint degree programme at Columbia Business School and London Business School.
