Olivier Tircazes

Olivier Tircazes is a Partner in charge of M&A activities within the Deal Advisory department of BDO France, the French member of the world's fifth-largest audit and advisory network. He is a graduate of ESC Rouen (now NEOMA Business School), holds a law degree, and is a Certified Public Accountant (expert-comptable). His profile combines dual experience in corporate general management and financial direction with M&A advisory.

He began his career in 1982 at Arthur Andersen, where he spent about six years. In 1988 he moved to Métrologie International, and in 1992 joined Carat France / Aegis Média France as Administrative and Financial Director. He rose to Deputy Director General in 1997 and Director General in 2000, overseeing roughly 1,000 employees across France and some 40 subsidiaries. In early 2005 he became Director General (CEO) of the b2s Group, then France's second-largest call-center operator with about 2,500 employees.

At the end of 2007 he joined Hekla Corporate Finance — an M&A advisory boutique founded in 2006 specializing in business combinations in the services sector — as Associate Director/Managing Partner (Associé gérant). Under his leadership Hekla advised on mid-market mergers, acquisitions, and company transfers.

In January 2022, BDO France announced the acquisition of Hekla Corporate Finance to strengthen its M&A offering; Hekla's partners and staff had in fact already joined BDO Paris roughly two years earlier (around 2020). Tircazes continues at BDO France as the Partner leading M&A within Deal Advisory.
