Background

Paolo Siniscalco is the founder and managing partner of Siniscalco & Partners, a firm of Italian Certified Public Accountants founded in Rome and aligned with the U.S. accounting group Grassi. He graduated in Economics and Commerce from La Sapienza University of Rome and is a Dottore Commercialista (Chartered Public Accountant) and Revisore Legale (Statutory Auditor), enrolled in the European Register of Tax Consultants and a committee member of the Ordine dei Dottori Commercialisti ed Esperti Contabili di Roma. He has spent most of his career in tax law, building specialized expertise in advising foreign clients operating in Italy and Italian clients investing or operating abroad, particularly on M&A transactions and cross-border tax matters.

More than ten years ago he opened the firm's New York office (currently at 750 3rd Ave) to "pioneer new markets," and the practice later added a Milan office (Foro Buonaparte, 63) alongside its Rome headquarters. He is a leader of the Italian Practice at the Grassi Advisory Group, where he plays a pivotal role bridging the Italian and American markets and heads the Italian Desk; his Grassi contact line is +1 212.223.5025.

Beyond his advisory work, Siniscalco sits on the boards of and holds officer roles in several operating companies. He is listed as a director of Roboze Inc., Sirtlife Corp., Delamaison Inc., Mera Realty Italy SRL and Synergy Srl, and as secretary of Ubiterra Corp. and Calzitaly Inc.; he was previously an Independent Director of the listed Italian company Redelfi SpA. He is also President of the Sinisca Contemporary Art Foundation and, per his firm bio, "passionately dedicates part of his time to mentoring young entrepreneurs around the world to help them create and grow their start-ups."

Investment Thesis & Focus

  • Operates primarily as an advisor, board member and connector rather than a pure-play fund: his edge is the Italy–U.S. corridor, where he links Italian companies and founders to U.S. capital, institutional stakeholders and strategic partners.
  • Focuses on early-stage and growth-stage Italian ventures with international (especially U.S.) ambitions, where cross-border tax/M&A structuring is a value-add.
  • Sector interests revealed by his board roles: advanced industrial technology / additive manufacturing (Roboze) and health, longevity and nutrigenomics (SirtLife).
  • States his role plainly: as a SirtLife board member he is tasked with "connecting the company with major investors and institutional stakeholders overseas," supporting growth through "business and financial expertise" and a "consolidated network of strategic relationships with investors, industrial partners and institutional stakeholders."
  • Self-described commitment to mentoring young entrepreneurs "to help them create and grow their start-ups," signaling a hands-on, relationship-driven approach.

Notable Investments

  • Roboze — Bari-based industrial 3D printing (FDM) company; Siniscalco & Partners acted as financial advisor to Roboze and founder/sole shareholder Alessio Lorusso on the December 2018 investment by RIF (a strategic fund), and Paolo is listed as a director of Roboze Inc.
  • SirtLife Corporation — Italian nutrigenomics / predictive-medicine and longevity venture; board member supporting U.S. fundraising and partnerships (SiliconDev entered SirtLife's capital in April 2026).
  • Ubiterra Corporation — U.S.-incorporated venture (tracked on PitchBook) where he serves as secretary.
  • Redelfi SpA — listed Italian holding/energy company; he served as an Independent Director.
  • Delamaison Inc., Mera Realty Italy SRL, Synergy Srl, Calzitaly Inc. — additional companies where he holds director/officer roles.
