Patsy Watson

Patsy Watson is a chartered accountant and long-serving property-sector CFO based in London. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) in Johannesburg after serving her articles with PwC, having studied at the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS), where she earned a B.Com, a B.Acc and a Higher Diploma in Taxation. She then spent roughly 13 years in corporate finance and project structuring as a partner at Neil Thomas Associates before relocating to the UK in 1999.

In the UK, Watson spent about three years as finance director of a division of Regus, the serviced-office group. She joined Stenham Property Limited in May 2007 as Financial Director. In October 2014 she was appointed Chief Financial Officer when Stenham Property and a substantial portion of its assets under management were sold into a JSE- and BSX-listed vehicle — a transaction she helped orchestrate alongside Paul Arenson. That entity became Stenprop Ltd and later rebranded as Industrials REIT, a UK multi-let industrial (MLI) property specialist.
