Pavel Glushenkov

Pavel Glushenkov is a Moscow-based entrepreneur and private investor best known as one of the co-founders of Level.Travel, the online package-tour search-and-booking platform launched in 2011 together with Dmitry Malyutin, Ellin Tolstov and Evgeny Ginzburg. At Level.Travel he served as Chief Financial Officer, leading financial planning and risk management, and he continues to sit on the company's board; the founding team has retained the controlling stake in the business through subsequent funding rounds.

His investing career is rooted in more than a decade of investment-banking and private-equity experience. He held the role of Investment Director at InVenture Partners, a Russia/CIS-focused venture fund, where he worked on investment strategy and portfolio management in technology and consumer sectors. He has also been reported in executive-financial roles in the fintech and digital-health space, including leadership at the mobile-acquiring company Smartfin (2can).

Glushenkov graduated from the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation (today's Financial University). Beyond Level.Travel, he operates as a private/angel investor, deploying personal capital into consumer-internet and offline-plus-online businesses and looking for founders who have already put their own money and effort behind a working product.

• Invests as an angel/private investor at the early (seed/angel) stage, primarily in consumer internet, mobile applications, and B2B e-commerce/marketplace services.
• Stated selection criteria: backs founders with prior entrepreneurial experience, a working product prototype, first contracts or sales, personal money already invested, an active team, and a total addressable market of more than ~$500 million.
• Comfortable with hands-on, operator-style bets — in the "Postiray" self-service laundry chain he partnered with an operating CEO and took the investor seat, seeding the venture with roughly RUB 15M.
• Draws on operator credibility: as a Level.Travel co-founder and CFO he can evaluate unit economics, cash burn and marketplace dynamics from the inside.
