Peter Bradley

Peter G. Bradley is an Operating Partner at Arbor Investments, a Chicago-based private equity firm founded in 1999 that specializes in acquiring and growing middle-market food and beverage companies. In his Arbor role he sources and oversees new platform investments, drawing on more than three decades (the firm and press releases cite 23+ years of senior operating experience) as an executive in consumer foods, dietary supplements, food ingredients, and specialty chemicals. He was named to oversee Arbor's November 2021 recapitalization of food-ingredient supplier Dr. G's Creations, the third platform investment for Arbor Fund V.

Bradley's operating career spans a series of senior leadership roles. He served as CEO of Novel Ingredients (2014–2016), a supplier of ingredients and finished products to the U.S. dietary supplement industry, and then as its Chairman (2016–2017). Earlier, he was CEO of Warwick International Group (2009–2013), a specialty chemicals business. At Sensient Technologies Corporation he held a progression of roles, including Managing Director of the Colors Europe division (2003–2004), President of the Asia Pacific Group (2004–2005), and President of the Color Group (2005–2009). He has also operated as Principal of Ingredient Insights, a consulting practice focused on food ingredients and specialty materials.

In a separate operating chapter that overlapped with his Arbor affiliation, Bradley joined the board of RiceBran Technologies (NASDAQ: RIBT) in August 2019 and was appointed President and CEO on August 12, 2020, leading the rice-bran ingredients company through 2021–2022 (he was still presenting as CEO on the company's Q2 2022 earnings call). His public-company and ingredient-sector operating experience is the core of what he brings to Arbor's portfolio.

Bradley earned a bachelor's degree in Business Studies (finance and marketing) from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Manchester Business School.

• Invests as an operating partner within Arbor Investments' food-and-beverage private equity strategy — control buyouts, recapitalizations, and platform/add-on acquisitions, not early-stage or seed checks.
• Targets profitable, middle-market companies that "lead their markets and are 'low-cost operators' with predictable cash-flows" (Arbor's stated criteria).
• Sub-sector appetite: branded food products; vegetable, fruit, meat and dairy processors; ethnic food manufacturers and marketers; flavors and ingredients; baked goods; restaurant chains; co-packers for retailers and foodservice; food packaging; grocery/specialty retail; and food logistics.
• Bradley's personal value-add is deep ingredients and specialty-chemical operating expertise — clean-label ingredient systems, flavors, colors, and dietary supplements — making him a natural lead on ingredient-platform deals.
