Peter Max

Peter Max (born 1961) is a Danish executive and investor with more than three decades of top-management experience in technology and business development. He has held senior executive roles at companies including Microsoft, Apple, TDC and ZyXEL, and describes having done business in 50+ countries, started subsidiaries across most of Europe, and worked on transactions ranging from roughly 25M DKK up to 13bn DKK. Across 20+ years he has cycled through the roles of CEO, chairman, investor, founder and advisor. He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and has taken management/MBA coursework at INSEAD and Henley.

Since 2008 he has been founder and partner of Gemstone Capital, a Nordic corporate-finance advisory firm headquartered near Copenhagen (Hellerup) that provides capital raising, IPO/listing advisory and M&A services to growth companies. He has led the firm as CEO & Partner, and is described as CEO since 2017. Gemstone Capital operates as a tied agent to the Swedish securities firm Bergs Securities AB (regulated by Finansinspektionen). His only other Gemstone-era team member publicly listed is Associate Director Sadjad Hassani.

Peter is also a long-standing partner at 1CT — the entity that led to Gemstone Capital and the source of his [hidden] address — where since around 2009 he has delivered international business development and strategic-finance services, acting both as CEO and board member on transactions. Through his personal holding company Maxelle Management ApS (which he has directed for ~25 years) he holds and manages a range of business interests. He is married and lives with his family outside Copenhagen.

His current board portfolio reflects a tech-plus-life-science focus: he was elected Chairman of the Board of Clinical Laserthermia Systems AB (CLS) at an extraordinary general meeting on 21 October 2024, and he sits on the boards of Sophion Bioscience A/S and Realfiction Holding AB.
