Puru Vashishtha

Puru Vashishtha is the Co-Founder and Chairman of Wishfin.com, the fintech company that operates the Deal4Loans marketplace under parent entity MyWish Marketplaces Private Limited (MMPL). He co-founded the venture with Rishi Mehra (CEO); MyWish Marketplaces was incorporated in October 2015 and is headquartered in Noida, India. Wishfin runs neutral financial marketplaces — comparing and applying for loans and credit cards — that use proprietary technology to intermediate between banks/NBFCs and consumers.

Vashishtha holds an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (Master's completed 2008). Before his fintech venture, he built a career in finance and investing, with roles at George Soros's Soros Fund Management (QIF), the hedge fund Fir Tree Partners, and ICICI Bank. His stated skill set spans valuation, corporate finance, investment banking, financial modeling, and business strategy.

A Stanford alumnus previously based in Palo Alto, California, Vashishtha relocated his base to India to join the board of Deal4Loans and work closely with founder-CEO Rishi Mehra. He and Mehra jointly lead the business, with Vashishtha serving in the chairman/board role.
