Background
Ralph H. Isham is the founder and Managing Director of GH Partners LLC. GH’s team page says that since 1990 he has directed GH’s private investments as both principal and agent in emerging-growth companies, specifically in telecommunications, transportation technologies, and health care services.
Before GH Partners, Isham worked as a corporate-management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and Strategic Planning Associates, a Mercer Consulting acquiree. His work there included long-range business strategy for Fortune 100 companies in domestic and international markets. He also worked at the American Stock Exchange as a Director under Arthur Levitt Jr., who later chaired the SEC.
Earlier in his career, Isham was a Fellow with the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee during the SALT II treaty hearings and served on the staffs of Congressman James W. Symington of Missouri and Senator Edward Brooke of Massachusetts. He co-founded the Vienna-based International NeuroTrauma Research Organization and has served in international-policy and civic roles including with Yale University’s President’s Council for International Activities, the Institute for War and Peace Reporting, and the EastWest Institute.
Isham earned a BA in International Relations from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
