Reece Fulgham

Reece Fulgham is a senior financial and restructuring executive with more than 30–40 years of accounting, financial-management, and turnaround experience. He is a former California-licensed CPA who began his career in audit at Greenstein Logan & Company in Dallas (1982–1984, focused on savings-and-loan audits), then spent roughly seven years (1984–1989) in the audit and business-advisory groups — and later the restructuring group — of Kenneth Leventhal & Company in Los Angeles. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Southwest Texas State University.

In 1989 he joined Davis Wire as Vice President of Finance following the company's Chapter 11 filing, developing and implementing the plan of reorganization that allowed it to emerge from bankruptcy in 1991. Since then he has provided interim management and financial/strategic advisory services to distressed companies and their creditors — independently and through firms including FTI Consulting and Nightingale & Associates — before joining SierraConstellation Partners as a Managing Director. His engagements span more than 35–50 companies and have included names such as Hollywood Video, Epic Resorts, American Golf, and Imperial Sugar.

Fulgham's most prominent recent operating role was Interim Chief Financial Officer of cannabis multi-state operator MedMen Enterprises, a position he took on December 21, 2020, overseeing finance and accounting during a turbulent period for the company; he returned to SCP after MedMen appointed a permanent CFO. He has also held cannabis-licensed executive status across multiple states (California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Illinois, Florida, New York, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania).

He is an experienced independent director and audit-committee chair, reporting roughly 12 independent-director positions (mostly for private-equity turnaround portfolio companies), one board chairmanship, and about 10 audit-committee chair roles. Board seats have included American HomePatient, Inc., Trussway Holdings, Inc., Cornerstone Healthcare Group Holding, Inc., and 3P Processing LLC. He states he has facilitated seven company sales and three liquidations.
