Roger Burks is a CPA with more than 40 years of business experience. He spent over 20 years at Deloitte, where he was an Audit Partner and ultimately served as Partner in Charge of the Global Strategic Clients group and the Energy Practice for the Gulf Coast Region — positioning him at the center of Houston's energy and finance community.

After leaving Deloitte, Burks founded two consulting firms. Following the sale of his interest in the first, he served as CFO and a board member of a private company that he helped lead to an initial public offering on the NASDAQ exchange — giving him direct operating and capital-markets experience beyond advisory work.
