Sally Hamilton

Sally Hamilton is the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (LFUCG), the top appointed administrative post in Kentucky's second-largest city. Hamilton earned her bachelor's degree from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and holds both a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in German studies from the University of Kentucky.

In 2026 she was named the 15th inductee into the Kentucky Public Service Hall of Fame — administered through the University of Kentucky's Martin School of Public Policy and Administration — which recognizes Kentuckians who have demonstrated extraordinary public service to their communities and state.
