Sandeep Shroff

Sandeep Shroff is a finance-and-technology entrepreneur based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He began his career as a Wall Street analyst and holds a Master's in Computer Science from Syracuse University and an MBA in Finance from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Across his career he has led CFO-level fundraising and financial management, with public bios citing well over a decade of leadership experience and a large aggregate of capital raised (figures range from ~$100M to ~$2B across different profiles).

Before founding his current company, Shroff co-founded Gridstone Research, where he led multiple funding rounds and helped grow the company to roughly 350 employees, and he served in finance and operations leadership roles there. He also spent time at Infosys, where he led US investor relations and M&A activity and contributed to a large secondary stock offering. He has additionally been associated with Get Me Research and MyTaxFiler.

In 2012 Shroff co-founded myStartUpCFO with Sudhir Pai, building a full-stack, on-demand financial services firm (outsourced CFO, bookkeeping, tax, fundraising, and financial modeling) for startups and small businesses — a company he framed in interviews around boosting women's participation in the workforce. myStartUpCFO is now part of Numera, a global outsourced finance, accounting, and tax services group, where Shroff is listed as Founder and CEO. He also serves as an advisor at Water Innovation Advisors.
