Shounok Sinha

Shounok Sinha is Managing Director of Constellation Technology Ventures (CTV), the venture investing arm of Constellation Energy, the largest producer of clean, carbon-free energy in the United States. In this role he leads all aspects of venture investing — deal sourcing, structuring, governance, portfolio management, and portfolio-company growth. Across his venture career he has directed more than $100 million in investments spanning multiple energy technologies and industries.

His path to venture ran through Constellation's balance-sheet and project-finance operations. He began at Constellation around 2012 in project financing, where he helped arrange over $1.5 billion in non-recourse debt for utility-scale renewable and gas generation assets. He subsequently led the investment team for Constellation's Distributed & Renewable Energy business, overseeing new-product development, commercial structuring, and M&A — work that included more than $2 billion of investments in distributed and renewable energy assets, developing a solar portfolio later sold to Brookfield Renewables, and establishing a joint venture with Bloom Energy. His earlier career also included a project-finance and capital-markets role connected to Exelon Corporation.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Instrumentation Engineering from BMS College of Engineering (India) and an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park. Sinha is an active board participant across the CTV portfolio, serving as a board member for Operant Networks, SparkFund, and Vutility, and as a board observer for PosiGen and Qnovo.
