Suzana Murray

Suzana Paixão Murray is a Partner at Performa Partners, a São Paulo–based consultancy she joined in 2012. She has roughly two decades of experience as an executive and consultant focused on corporate transformation, performance improvement, and turnaround/restructuring work for medium and large companies. At Performa she leads transformation projects, oversees teams of senior consultants and executives, and can step in as an interim executive on financial processes — including performance-improvement engagements, Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) implementations, and turnarounds.

Before Performa Partners, Suzana built a career across restructuring and financial-management roles. She worked at Galeazzi & Associados on the acquisition and turnaround of Globex S.A. (Ponto Frio); at Alvarez & Marsal on the restructuring of the Casa & Vídeo retailer; and with Vinci Partners restructuring back-office operations for Inbrands (a Brazilian premium-fashion/lifestyle brand platform), where she also served as a Financial Manager. Earlier roles include manager and interim-manager positions at Pontofrio and a corporate-management role at Banco Prosper structuring credit transactions.

She holds a degree in Business Administration from FIAA (Rio de Janeiro) and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC (Rio de Janeiro). Her named client engagements at Performa include Le Postiche, Cnova, GPA Malls, Porto Seguro (Monitoramento), and Security (Segurança e Facilities).

Performa Partners itself was founded in 2006 and positions its consultants not merely as advisors but as executive/interim managers who actively drive results. In 2013 it became the exclusive Brazilian partner of the EIM (Excellence in Management) network, and in 2018 it formed a strategic partnership with Arpejo Invest, a Brazilian private-equity firm, to add capital-structure alternatives to its transformation work.
