Ted Hill

Ted Hill is a General Partner and the Chief Financial Officer at B Capital, where he leads the firm's Finance and Portfolio Analytics teams. In April 2022, as part of a broader executive-team expansion, B Capital elevated Hill to Chief Administrative Officer, and he also serves as COO of the Americas — making him one of the firm's most senior operational and financial leaders responsible for scaling B Capital's own infrastructure alongside the growth of its portfolio.

Before joining B Capital, Hill was CFO for Santander Bank's US Consumer & Business Bank. Earlier in his career he held multiple roles in Digital Strategy, Corporate Development and Finance at JPMorgan Chase, Nationwide Insurance, and Bain & Company, and he began his career as an investment banker in New York and London. He has professional experience working across Argentina, Spain and England.

Hill graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Economics and Spanish from Bucknell University and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.

B Capital itself was founded in 2015 by Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin and Raj Ganguly (with Howard Morgan in senior leadership), manages more than $8 billion in assets, and has backed 190+ companies.
