Tom Andrews

Tom Andrews is a Managing Director at TriGate Capital, LLC, a privately held, SEC-registered real estate investment management firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas. He joined TriGate in 2018 and was promoted to Managing Director in 2025, rising through the firm to become a senior member of its investment team. His primary responsibility is originating, structuring, and executing new investments across all major commercial real estate asset classes, with a particular specialization in retail.

Before joining TriGate, Andrews worked as an analyst at Stream Realty Partners, where he underwrote potential investments and assisted with leasing activity — experience that grounds his current deal-origination and structuring work. He earned both his BBA and MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, with academic focus on finance and real estate.

TriGate itself was founded in 2007 and pursues value-oriented, situation-driven strategies centered on the recapitalization and repositioning of commercial real estate assets and operating companies. The firm reports roughly $2.0–2.1 billion of capital under management across four fully discretionary real estate funds, and its team has been responsible for acquiring over $11 billion of real estate assets through a variety of transaction structures. Andrews operates within this platform, sourcing and executing middle-market deals in the firm's target Sunbelt markets.
