Tomi Terho

Tomi Henrik Terho is an investment professional (partner) at Intera Partners, a Nordic private equity firm headquartered in Helsinki with an office in Stockholm. He joined Intera in spring 2011. He holds an M.Sc. in Economics from the Helsinki School of Economics (now part of Aalto University), completing his graduate studies around 2009.

Before joining Intera, Terho worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company; earlier-career roles reportedly included positions associated with Goldman Sachs International and Nokia. At Intera he has led and supported a series of Finnish buyout and growth investments, and he is noted for having "worked several years with Consti as we were developing the company towards its successful IPO in 2015" — a Finnish building-services group that Intera took public.

Terho holds and has held numerous board and directorship roles tied to Intera's portfolio and vehicles, including Vice Chairman of Sitowise Group Oyj, and board/director positions at NoHo Partners Oyj (formerly Royal Ravintolat / restaurant group), Consti Oyj, Sitowise Oy, Evidensia Djursjukvård, Animagi, Polarica Holding, Lummene Capital, and Intera Equity Partners II. He currently leads Intera's work on the expansion of Sitowise (a Nordic engineering and consultancy group) and serves on the board of NoHo Partners.

Intera Partners itself manages roughly €585 million across active funds and practices active-ownership private equity — backing established Finnish and Nordic companies (often family businesses) and driving growth, internationalization, add-on acquisitions, and professional governance. The firm reports 37 platform investments, ~450 add-on acquisitions, and average ~4x sales growth in portfolio companies by exit.
