Vicente Arias

Vicente Arias is a serial entrepreneur and investor with more than 20 years in Spain's digital and technology ecosystem, much of it based in Barcelona. He built his early career inside several of the country's foundational internet companies, holding roles such as Online Marketing Manager at InfoJobs, Corporate Development Director at Grupo Intercom, and Operations and Marketing Director at Softonic (which he is often credited as co-founding/scaling). In 2006 he joined media group Grupo Godó as Business Development and Marketing Director, leading its digital division and the Clasificados.es classifieds business.

In 2008, together with Jesús Monleón, he co-founded SeedRocket, one of Spain's best-known early-stage startup accelerators and mentor networks, where he remains a board member and mentor. He went on to found and lead Offerum, a daily-deals/e-commerce company, as CEO.

In 2016 he launched Coverfy, billed as the first insurance-management app in Spain — a mobile app (iOS/Android) that consolidates a user's insurance policies in one place and acts as a digital broker. Coverfy raised venture funding (backers included K Fund and Bonsai Venture Capital) and grew partly through acquisition, taking over Segurosbroker.com's private insurance portfolio. The company was acquired in 2023.

Alongside his operating roles, Arias has been an active business angel for over a decade, frequently co-investing with the SeedRocket network, and is a partner at Spice VC, where he focuses on digital consumer products, real estate, and restaurant/hospitality businesses across Catalonia and Spain.
