Background
Victoire Laurenty is a Paris-based investor who has spent her career moving from strategy consulting into early-stage venture and then growth equity. She is a graduate of Télécom ParisTech (2011–2014) and holds a Master's in Mathematics & Economics from the London School of Economics (2013–2014), after preparatory-class mathematics at Lycée Louis-le-Grand. She began her career at L.E.K. Consulting, where she spent roughly three years as a Senior Associate Consultant, before joining the Growth team at Ardian (Ardian Growth) as an Investment Manager, working on more than five deals and reinvestments in the digital and IT sectors, including Planisware, Clever Age, TabMo and Uptoo.
She then joined Kerala Ventures, a French early-stage ("Founding Investor") seed fund known for backing companies such as Doctolib, Malt and Ouihelp. At Kerala she led dealflow operations and rose from Associate to Principal (until ~2020), and took a board seat at home-care marketplace Ouihelp. This is the role reflected in the stub data and the source of her [hidden] address.
In 2021 she moved to Cathay Innovation (the venture arm of Cathay Capital), where she served as Vice-President and then Director over roughly two and a half years, working on the firm's global early-stage venture activity (including the €100M Ledger Cathay Capital web3 fund). She subsequently joined Wendel Growth, the venture/growth arm of listed investment firm Wendel (>€50bn AUM), becoming Co-Head of Growth Equity alongside Antoine Izsak.
In October 2025, Wendel announced that its direct growth-investment team would spin out to form IronWave, an independent GP controlled and managed by Izsak and Laurenty (who together hold 70%, with Wendel retaining a ~30% minority stake). Laurenty is a Partner and co-owner of the new firm, which builds on Wendel Growth's three-year track record and continues to advise Wendel on its existing direct growth investments.
Investment Thesis & Focus
- Growth equity in B2B software (IronWave/Wendel Growth): €5–15M minority stakes in European and US B2B tech companies, typically starting from around €3M ARR.
- Stated thesis: IronWave "partner[s] with B2B tech founders passionate about their product, people and culture to build enduring leaders," helping entrepreneurs "reach the scale and growth profile where they will find real liquidity, optionality, and strategic freedom."
- Sector conviction: cybersecurity, AI (including AI for drug discovery), defense and government intelligence software, B2B marketplaces, and enterprise SaaS.
- Earlier-stage roots (Kerala Ventures): first-cheque / "Founding Investor" seed backing of pre-revenue French tech founders in SaaS, marketplaces, AI, data and tech-enabled services, with rounds up to ~€2.5M — the seed/angel profile noted in the stub.
- What makes her say yes: founder quality and product/culture obsession, plus companies with demonstrated commercial traction (ARR) that can scale into category leaders.
