Vlad Busila

Vlad Bușilă is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Mozaik Investments, a privately held growth-capital fund with offices in Bucharest and Vienna that partners with entrepreneurs to build regional champions across Central and Eastern Europe. He brings more than 20 years of experience in investment banking and private equity, and joined/co-founded the Mozaik platform around 2018–2019, when the firm expanded its operations across Central Europe. Mozaik was established by Roland Haas, Sacha Dragic, and Vlad Bușilă.

Before Mozaik, Vlad was one of the co-founders of Capital Partners (founded 2005), the leading independent Romanian investment banking boutique, where he coordinated the debt-raising and later the M&A departments. Capital Partners was the No. 1 independent investment banking house in Romania between 2005 and 2016, closing more than €2 billion of transactions. In March 2016, the firm was acquired by Banca Transilvania and became BT Capital Partners, the biggest full-service investment bank in Romania.

He graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest (Academia de Studii Economice din București) and completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School.
