Will Bixby

Will Bixby is a long-tenured private equity executive who serves as a Senior Advisor at Trinity Hunt Partners, the Dallas-based growth-oriented private equity firm. He joined Trinity Hunt in 2008 as a partner, having spent the prior seven years at The Riverside Company, a multi-billion-dollar middle-market private equity fund, where he was a founding partner of Riverside's Dallas office (established in 2001). His arrival was covered at the time by industry press including PE Hub and Private Equity International (November 2008).

Earlier in his career, Bixby was a founding member of the Dallas office of Citicorp Venture Capital, focused on middle-market buyouts, and he began his career in 1986 with Citicorp Leverage Capital, where he worked on larger acquisitions. Across his career he has been the lead partner on numerous equity investments spanning manufacturing, industrials, healthcare, business services, and consumer products.

On the education side, Bixby holds a B.A. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1997 and has been a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR).

At Trinity Hunt he has taken active board and chairman roles across portfolio companies. His LinkedIn now describes him as a retired private equity executive serving as a board member and advisor (including through Bixby Holdings), consistent with his transition to a Senior Advisor role at the firm.
