Yves Cheridito

Dr. Yves Cheridito is the co-founder, shareholder, CEO, and board member of Wineus AG, which he has led since its founding in 2008. He holds a Doctorate in Economics specializing in Corporate Finance from the University of Zurich. At Wineus he is responsible for firm strategy and personnel, and he steers both the advisory practice (M&A, financing, restructuring) and the firm's direct-investment arm, Wineus Capital.

Before founding Wineus, Cheridito spent nine years (roughly 1999–2008) at PwC in Switzerland and Australia, holding a range of valuation and transaction roles and ultimately serving as "Head of Valuation Switzerland." That background — deep valuation, M&A, and corporate-finance expertise — shapes Wineus's approach of buying, structuring, and actively managing equity stakes in established companies on a deal-by-deal basis.

Beyond running Wineus, Cheridito is an active board member and serial investor across a portfolio of Swiss companies. He has held or holds board/supervisory positions at Pure Foods AG, nsn medical ag, Rheno Umwelttechnik AG, and Swiss QualiQuest AG, and is a director at Treureva AG. He describes his personal investing focus as healthcare, hospitality, and innovative products and services.
